The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship!

Hello friends!! Welcome to the place where sharing of wonderful recipes happens!! I can't wait to hear everyone's recipes. It's always nice to find something new, instead of always eating the same old, same old. I will start things off by giving you two recipes. One of which is a staple around my house and easy as can be. The other I just tried for the first time the other night and it was fantastic.

So, Number 1: Mexican Goulash (it's all canned, so it's super easy to keep on hand)
1 can chicken
1 can black beans
1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 small can green chilies
a little bit of chopped onion
Garlic salt
Pepper

Just combine it all in a saucepan, after straining out all the juice, and heat it up. This is great as a dip or topped with cheese and wrapped up in a tortilla.

Number 2: Margarita Chicken
1 cup (or so) margarita mix
a dash of garlic powder
1 lb. chicken breasts
pepper
1 can black beans
Spanish rice (I used the Uncle Ben's 90 second spanish rice)
Salsa

Marinate the chicken in the margarita mix and a little garlic salt. Try to marinate for at least 2 hours. Before cooking, drain the mix and brush pepper onto the chicken. Grill it as usual. Then I just microwaved the beans and rice. On a plate, put the beans down first, then put the rice, then a few scoops of salsa, and finally, top it with the grilled chicken breast. We also sprinkled a little more margarita mix over the top of it. Super delicious.

Hope you enjoy!!!
